Last Tuesday, the renowned singer Jennifer Lopez revealed her true sentiments about marriage as well as her relationship with Alex Rodriguez. J.Lo and Rodriguez have been dating for two years before the latter surprised her with a romantic vacation to the Bahamas. She never thought Rodriguez would get down on one knee and ask her, what should’ve been the most memorable question in the world for most women, but not for Lopez who had heard those four words many times in her life.

Lopez admitted that she was really wary of marrying again after her three of her relationships had failed in the past. The singer didn’t want to endure the pain of a broken heart or have her dreams of starting a family shattered once again. But most of all, Lopez was afraid of losing the love of her life again.

The Dilemma

But then Alex came into her life and restored her faith in true love once again. Rodriguez turned out to be the best friend and lover she had always wished for in a life partner. Everything in their relationship was almost perfect. And while Lopez was delighted to get butterflies in her stomach once again, she couldn’t help but think that something terrible may happen to them that would ruin all of her happiness if she accepted the marriage proposal.

Lopez said Rodriguez proposed to her last month, and she felt it was the right time despite her initial hesitation.

While Lopez dreaded the question, she surprisingly felt as if a weight had been lifted off her chest when Rodriguez proposed to her. Lopez thought it was the right time to get married again and she couldn’t be happier with her decision. The renowned singer says she feels grateful to have Alex as her best friend and partner and looks forward to spending the rest of her life with him.

Since their personalities are very similar, Rodriguez understands her from the inside out. Her lover knows how passionate she is about her work and how much her career means to her. For the first time, Lopez had found someone who supports her passion, and they’re both cheering each other up to reach their goals in life.

Lopez adds that aside from supporting each other, she and her fiance are always finding more ways and opportunities to grow in all aspects of their lives. They help each other when it comes to their careers, business ventures, investments, and personal goals. Lopez says she’s not just growing to become a better person, but their relationship is also evolving with them. As they start a new life together, Lopez says she can’t wait to spend her life with Rodriguez.
