11-Year-Old Violinist Battling Cancer Stuns Simon Cowell with Performance, What He Did Next Was Unbelievable!

As “America’s Got Talent” kicks off their newest season, an 11-year-old violinist named Tyler Butler-Figueroa wowed the audience with his skills with the musical instrument.

But his talent aside, it was Tylor’s story that moved the audience and judges the most. The viewers were left teary-eyed after he shared his experience with bullying and a life-threatening medical condition that almost killed him.

The Audition

A few weeks ago, the 11-year-old boy named Tyler Butler-Figueroa stepped on the stage of the prestigious talent show America’s Got Talent to share his passion for music and violin with the public.

He performed a heartfelt rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger“, a song that aptly describes his personal struggles with health and bullying.

While the judges were moved by the little boy’s story, no one expected him to be so talented with the musical instrument at such a young age.

As if his talent wasn’t enough to impress the judge, Tyler also shared the enduring battle he has been fighting despite his young age.

The boy revealed that he had leukemia, a type of cancer that affects the blood cells and can be life-threatening.

But Tyler isn’t just fighting for his life; the young boy has also had to endure bullying from other kids at his school.

The Story

Tyler said that when his classmates and friends learned of his Leukemia; they started spreading false rumors about him claiming that his disease is contagious.

This scared away others from being friends with him and people started avoiding him like the plague. That’s when he discovered violin and started playing the instrument as therapy.

Tyler also said playing music helped him forget about his condition, as well as the bullying he received from the public.

Instead of dwelling on negative emotions, Tyler decided to continue playing music and hone his skills with the violin in hopes of making something positive out of his life.

Fortunately, Tyler says he’s been in remission from his Leukemia for four years now, but nothing compares to the gift he received from Cowell after his stunning performance.

After hearing his inspiring story, the judges and audience couldn’t help but give him a standing ovation and some were even moved to tears, especially Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough who couldn’t stop the tears from flowing. The latter even commended the boy for finding his source of joy despite the difficult trials he endured.
